For more than 15 years, we have made it our mission to serve those who protect others.

As part of that mission, we are proud to offer programs to support Florida deputies with training, financial support and access to resources.

LEND A HAND FUND

The Lend a Hand Fund provides immediate monetary resources to a member experiencing a crisis including medical needs, loss of a home or injury in the line of duty.

LEAP PROGRAM

FDSA’s Law Enforcement Apprenticeship Program (LEAP) supports future deputy sheriffs as they attend a certified law enforcement academy in Florida.

TRAINING

Throughout the year, FDSA partners with Florida sheriffs to offer leadership and resiliency training.

CONFERENCE

The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association and TacOps Tactical Training Conferences have partnered to present the Florida Law Enforcement and Tactical Operations Conference and Expo, coming May 2025.
