FDSA to Provide Cutting-Edge Training in 2025

The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association is once again leading the way to provide the very best training and support to our members as well as the other brave deputies and officers who can benefit from these opportunities.

In 2025, that means the very first TacOps training event in Florida – specifically designed for Florida law enforcement. The Florida Law Enforcement and Tactical Operations Conference and Expo will be held in Jacksonville May 28-30.

This event is the ultimate practical, hands-on training event for all members of law enforcement including SWAT, patrol, detectives, TEMS and corrections. It is also great for members of the military. In addition to cutting-edge training, networking and technology under one roof, attendees qualify for up to 17 hours of continuing education credits from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Don’t wait – register online at fldeputysheriffs.org/conference to secure your spot today. Space is limited!

Be sure to also check out our training calendar on the FDSA website for more innovative training events in 2025, including Emerging Technologies: The Future is Now, Police Resiliency and Critical Incident Mindset Training, Spark-Up: Managing the Demands of Policing in the 21st Century and many more.

I am incredibly proud of this Association and the work we do in Florida, including our partnership with Gov. DeSantis to provide relief in the wake of Hurricane Milton through the Lend a Hand Fund last year, as is highlighted in the latest issue of the All Points Bulletin magazine.

Whether its training, legal coverage or immediate financial assistance when you need it most, FDSA will always be here for you.

Here’s to doing even more in 2025.
