15 Years of Serving Our Deputies And Their Families
The year was 2009. Barack Obama was inaugurated. The first Android phone was released. Bitcoin was introduced and Avatar was the winner at the box office. It was also the year that the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association was launched with the goal of providing needed services to the brave men and women who serve their communities through our 67 sheriffs’ offices.
Lend a Hand Story: FDSA Supports Marion County Sheriff Deputy Warner During His Recovery from a Gunshot Wound in the Line of Duty
Following the death of one of their deputy’s children, FDSA Executive Director Keith Dean presented Walton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Audie Rowell with a Lend a Hand donation to support their family during the difficult time.
