The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association represents Florida deputy sheriffs who need a common voice supporting their needs in the workplace, in their communities and at the Capitol. By coming together through FDSA, deputies have increased their level of growth, support and best practices training.
history
Founded in 2009 by Florida’s sheriffs, the FDSA is a not-for-profit association that provides comprehensive benefits, a professional network, camaraderie and a communications forum for Sheriffs’ Office staff. The association provides accidental, health, survivor and legal benefits and services to deputies and staff that may not otherwise be available to Sheriff’s Office personnel.

The mission of the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association is to establish a network of knowledge, create cohesiveness, promote professionalism and provide security for law enforcement officers, correctional officers and employees of Florida’s Sheriffs’ offices.
