Retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Captain Josh Bitsko, a 24-year law enforcement veteran, leads training on police resiliency and critical incident mindset. Drawing from his response to the Oct. 1, 2017, massacre and the Dec. 6, 2023, UNLV active shooter, he shares real-world insights, science-based research and coping strategies to help officers manage trauma, improve crisis response and process the lasting impact of critical incidents.
