Since 2009, The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association has been providing support and resources for Florida deputies and Sheriff’s Office personnel. Through these resources, we have been able to serve those who protect us by giving them access to a network of their peers, legal representation for critical incidents and financial assistance in their time of need.

Million given to Florida deputies and their families
LEND A HAND FUND
The Lend a Hand Fund provides immediate monetary resources to a member or family members experiencing a crisis including medical needs, loss of a home or injury in the line of duty.
FDSA Board President and Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast and FDSA Executive Director Keith Dean presented retired St. John’s County Sheriff David Shoar with a donation from the Lend a Hand Fund for the family of a fallen deputy.
