CREDIT UNION
FDSA exists to serve those who protect others. As part of that mission, the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association now offers access to credit union services designed specifically for sheriff’s office employees across Florida through a partnership with OnPath Credit Union.
FINANCIAL Services for Florida's Sheriff's Office Employees
This program was created to help reduce financial stress, provide practical financial tools and connect employees with confidential, judgment-free support.
Whether an employee is working to improve credit, escape high-interest debt, open a checking account, finance a vehicle, buy a home or simply make the most of their money, this benefit is designed to meet them where they are.
Why Financial Wellness Matters
Financial stress affects more than household budgets. It can impact focus, morale, retention and overall well-being. Sheriff’s office employees carry significant responsibility every day, and many are quietly managing financial pressure at home. FDSA believes financial wellness is part of supporting the whole person behind the badge.
Your Personal Financial Guide
Through the OnPath CU partnership, FDSA credit union services connect members with a dedicated financial guide. Members get confidential, personalized service from representatives who understand the law enforcement community and the opportunity to meet on-site at their sheriff’s office.

How It Works for Agencies
Sheriff’s offices do not have to manage the process. FDSA and the credit union team make it simple. Once an agency schedules a visit, the credit union team provides materials, comes on-site, meets individually with employees and helps answer questions. There is no complicated process for the agency to manage. The agency’s role is simply to help communicate the opportunity and encourage employees to stop by.
