FDSA Brings TacOps Conference to Florida

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tallahassee, FL – February 3, 2025 – The Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association (FDSA) is proud to bring the popular TacOps Tactical Training Conference to Florida for the first time, delivering advanced law enforcement training directly to officers in the state. FDSA is breaking new ground by tailoring the event to meet the unique needs of Florida’s law enforcement community.

FDSA Executive Director Keith Dean spearheaded the efforts to bring TacOps to Florida. “I couldn’t be more thrilled for FDSA to be a strategic partner in bringing the Tactical Operations Conference to Florida in 2025. This is a unique opportunity for law enforcement professionals to connect, sharpen their skills and take cutting-edge strategies back to the communities they serve.”

Hosted at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Jacksonville May 28-30, 2025, attendees will receive exceptional training, hands-on demonstrations, networking opportunities and access to the latest innovations in tactical gear and strategies. The conference is open to all members of law enforcement including SWAT, Patrol, Detectives, TEMS, Military and Corrections.

“We are excited to partner with FDSA to bring TacOps to Florida,” said Larry Beresnoy, president of TacOps. “Together, we are committed to empowering law enforcement professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.”

Thousands of law enforcement officers annually attend TacOps conferences for access to over 40 training tracks taught by some of the most sought-after instructors in the nation. All attendees will also qualify for up to 17 hours of continuing education credits from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) in addition to certifications.
